A Horse Got Hurt...Am I Guilty?

If the horse doesn't belong to you then you shouldn't have messed with her to begin with... if the others were left out, then you should have left her out with the others, and only worried about YOUR horse. But... NO it isn't really YOUR fault that the horse casted.... How were you to know ?? But the owner of the horse may have KNOWN the horse would get upset if she were left in the barn with only one other horse. It's all up to YOU if you help with the vet bill... i would NOT pay for the WHOLE thing but i WOULD help with it out of the kindness of my heart and just to keep the barn manager off of my back and keep out of any kind of confrontation.... Good luck to you hun ! Just next time, don't mess with anyone else's horse UNLESS you get prior approval FROM the owner.... that way if anything else like this happens you can NOT be blamed.....
