What's with people and old school on this site?

i sware. it seems like every time some one asks a who is the best rapper question you get like a million tupacs.and also what's with people and rakim and lupe fiasco and jay-z. i've never heard rakim but lupe and jay suck. (i'm probly gonna get hated on so much for saying this but i had to.)
