Bipolar question and depression please.?

it does sound like a mixed state.im bipolar and act the very same way.actually (i feel like as tho i reading about myself) if you feel like you need to be hospitalized then thats what you need to do,as long as you keep yourself safe.ive been hospitalized 3 times because of suicidal gestures,it was when i felt so high too that i felt as though i needed to do something as well,the feeling of being on top of the world is great but i knew in my mind i was gonna crash and i didnt want to go through the lows again.its been almost 3 yrs.since the last hospital stay but sometimes i think about admitting myself again just so i can be safe.so do what you feel is right,but most of all stay safe and take care of you... good luck!! bipolar is like playing the game of russian roulette to me,you never know whats going to happen from min.to min.i call it "bipolar hell"
